Celebrate AAPI month in Cincinnati with these events throughout May

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, honoring the heritage and legacy of Asian Americans, Hawaiians and other Pacific Islander Americans who have made our country what it is today.

It’s easy to celebrate AAPI month in Cincinnati, as there are plenty of events coming up like cultural festivals, art exhibitions, film screenings, food experiences, live performances and educational programming that highlight the depth and diversity of AAPI cultures.

“AAPI Heritage Month is a moment for the entire city to come together,” said Billy Guinigundo, board member of local non-profit Asianati. “It creates space to celebrate culture, share stories, and recognize the impact that the AAPI community continues to have on Cincinnati.”

New and returning highlights this year include large-scale cultural celebrations, community-driven food experiences, curated art programming and partnerships with some of Cincinnati’s most iconic venues and institutions.
