The Power of the Circle in Chinese Dance, Martial Arts and Calligraphy

Chinese classical dance, martial arts, and calligraphy all share the fundamental principle of yuan, the circle. The presentation and demonstrations will include how the principles of the circle, the foundations of major Chinese philosophies and beliefs — including Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism — apply to Chinese Classical dance and Tai Chi movements.
