Join Certified Sake Sommelier Akisa Fukuzawa and the JASGC on Thursday, May 7, 6:00-7:30 pm, for a 30-minute sake presentation followed by a one-hour tasting event, featuring a flight of 4 types of (cold) sake along with delicious food pairings.  Fukuzawa-san will teach us about sake and the culture behind the drink. Learn how sake is made, discover your personal preferences, and enjoy a fabulous tasting experience in the company of others who appreciate Japanese culture and enjoy new experiences.  (This event quickly sold out in 2025, so buy your tickets soon!) 

The event will include 4 types of premium sake (to be confirmed soon) -- "one level up" vs. our event last year; still suitable for beginners, but also of interest to those who are already familiar with sake, including true aficionados. 

Our menu for food pairings (included in the ticket price) includes appetizer portion sizes of several traditional Japanese dishes. (Menu to be announced soon.)  Additional dishes may be ordered from the menu (at your own expense).  

Please note this event is only for those at least 21 years of age or older.  Since space is very limited at this event, tickets are transferable to another person but are not refundable.  Please let us know in advance about ticket transfers (golden@jasgc.org).
